The parent teacher
association membership is open to guardian / parent of
bonafide students who believes in the mission and
purpose of Parent Teacher Association Individual members
may belong to any number of PTA.
Together we are a powerful voice for students with your
help we can continue to work towards PTA’s goal, a
quality education and nurturing environment for every
student. |

- To promote welfare
of the students.
- To raise the
student’s standard of life in all aspects.
- To make provision
for the overall development of a students through
various activities.
- To establish the
rapport between students, their parents and
teachers.

Objectives : |
| |
- To increase sense
of community among all members of PTA including
teachers, students, parents and other stake holders.
- To provide
additional opportunities for parents to connect with
the college and its functioning.
- To promote
attendance and participation of students in all the
Objectives conducted in the college meant for their
progress.
- Contribute &
encourage & work with teachers to identify and
implement programmers, activities and events that
will enrich or support the curriculum.
- Provide staff with
adequate and effective state of the art resources to
help them meet their educational goal.

Role and Responsibilities of PTA |
| |
|
Members of the executive
committee which include parent representatives are
expected to understand, support and fulfill the
following responsibilities. |
|
|
- Actively
participate in regularly scheduled committee
meetings. Read material distributed prior to the
meeting.
- Contribute to
discussions and support decisions that are arrived
at by the committee and hold any confidential
information shared at the meetings in confidence.
- Be informed about
the PTA’s mission statement and constitution
documents.
- Be accessible to
other parents and teachers who wish to put forward
or concerns to the PTA.
